A finance function that chases for you, not the other way around.

As your accountant, we already understand your cash flow better than anyone. Now we'll run the credit control too, built on a modern collections platform, branded as part of our service to you.

01 / Setup

We connect to your accounting software

Xero or QuickBooks plugs straight in. Existing GoCardless mandates can migrate without your customers re-signing anything.

02 / Run

Automated chasing in your name

Personalised reminders go out from your business, not ours, not a third party. Direct debit, cards, Apple Pay, bank transfer. Your customers pay how they want.

03 / Manage

We handle the exceptions

Failed payments, disputes, instalment plans, late fees: we manage the moments that matter. You get a clean dashboard and a monthly report.

What's late payment actually costing you?

Drop in a few numbers from your aged debtors report. We'll show you how much we'd expect to recover, and what it would cost to have us run it.

The economics of getting paid.

A managed service from your accountant works out cheaper, and considerably more effective, than the alternatives.

Approach
Typical cost
The catch
Outsourced credit control firm
£200–£400+ /mo per client
A managed service, but no software advantage. Often manual, often slow.
DIY tools (Chaser, Satago)
£75–£350 /mo
You're still doing the work yourself, and the time spent isn't time spent on your business.
Debt collection agency
6–35% of debt recovered
Reactive, expensive, and damages customer relationships. No guarantee of success.
Accountancy 365: Managed Service
From £50 /mo
Software-led, accountant-managed, branded as your firm. The whole stack, properly run.

Why this works better from your accountant.

  • i.

    We already know your numbers

Your aged debtors, your margins, your cash flow patterns. We don't need to learn them; we built them.

  • ii.

    Goes out under your branding

Reminders, chases, statements, all in your name. Your customers don't see a third-party agency. They see you.

  • iii.

    Built for trades & renewables

It's our niche. We understand retentions, CIS, milestone billing, and how trade customers actually pay.

  • iv.

    Direct debit migration without disruption

Already on GoCardless? Mandates move across without your customers re-signing. Collections continue uninterrupted.

  • v.

    One dashboard, real-time

See what's been collected, what's overdue, and how your payment performance compares to similar businesses. No more guesswork.

  • vi.

    25% off direct debit fees

For the first 12 months on the platform, passed straight through to you. Not a kickback. A discount.

Questions, answered.

What is credit control as a service?

Credit control as a service means your accountant runs the whole process of getting your invoices paid: sending automated payment reminders in your name, collecting by direct debit and card, chasing overdue accounts, handling failed payments and disputes, and reporting on what has been collected. Instead of doing it in-house, you hand the function to a team that already knows your numbers.

How much does outsourced credit control cost?

It depends on how much you want handled. Our service starts from a £50 one-off setup, £75 a month for light oversight, or from £350 a month for full management where we run the entire function. That typically works out cheaper than a standalone credit control firm, and far cheaper than a debt collection agency taking a percentage of everything recovered.

What exactly are you doing that I'm not already doing?

We're setting up and managing a dedicated payment collection system on your behalf: automated chasing, direct debit collection, real-time visibility into what's paid and what isn't, and active management when things need attention. The result: you get paid faster, with less time spent chasing.

Will my customers know an accountant is involved?

You decide. Communications can go out under your branding, ours, or a third party's, whichever works best for your customers. Most clients prefer the chasing to feel like it's coming from their own business, and we set it up that way by default.

We already use GoCardless. Do we have to start again?

No. Existing direct debit mandates can be migrated to the new platform without your customers re-signing anything. Collections continue without interruption, and we manage the paperwork.

What happens when a payment fails?

We monitor for failed payments and act on them. Depending on the reason, the system retries automatically or flags it for follow-up. You won't need to chase these yourself; we keep you informed of anything that needs a decision from you.

What software does it integrate with?

Xero and QuickBooks directly, so invoices sync and payments reconcile in real time. If you use trade software like Tradify, ServiceM8, Fergus, HaloPSA or others that flow into Xero/QuickBooks, you're already set. Standalone invoices in PDF, Word, JPEG or CSV can also be uploaded.

How will I know it's actually working?

You'll have access to a real-time dashboard showing exactly what's been collected, what's overdue, and how your payment performance is trending, including a benchmark against similar businesses. We'll also review it with you regularly so you always know where things stand.

Is this just for our existing clients?

No. We offer it to new clients too, and it's often a strong reason for businesses to come to us in the first place. If you know a trade or renewables business struggling with late payment, we're happy to have a chat.

Get paid faster. Properly.
